Botox
After treatment, the appearance of your wrinkles begins to improve within 24 hours, with full results developing gradually over the next five days. Most patients achieve their desired results after just one injection, although additional treatment sessions may be required in the future. The results of Botox injections typically last up to four months.

Dysport
Dysport® injections are ideal for nearly anyone wishing to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on the face and restore a younger, more refreshed appearance. The injections are administered directly into the facial muscles that cause frown lines and other wrinkles.

Restylane
Approved by the FDA, Restylane is designed to match your skin, smoothing wrinkles, sculpting lips or shaping facial contours. The most common areas for a Restylane treatment are the glabellar lines (between the eyebrows) and the nasolabial folds (from the root of the nose to the angle of your mouth). When used for lips or facial contouring, Restylane will add shape and volume to the area. Restylane is able to create volume under your wrinkles, which are then lifted up and smoothed out.

Perlane
Perlane® is an injectable filler used to treat deep facial lines, augment the lips and contour the cheeks and chin. Made by the same company that produces Restylane®, Perlane contains purified hyaluronic acid, a sugar found naturally in the body that works with collagen to keep the skin smooth and supple. It is hypoallergenic and does not require a pre-treatment skin test.

Juvéderm® Injectable Gel
Juvéderm® is an FDA-approved smooth consistency gel capable of restoring volume to the skin while smoothing away moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. This injection is made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the skin that adds volume and hydration.

Spider Vein Treatments
The standard treatment for both spider and varicose veins is sclerotherapy, which involving injecting a sclerosing solution into the affected veins, causing them to gradually disappear. This procedure is performed in the doctor’s office and takes no more than an hour. Most patients require two to four treatment sessions in order to achieve their desired results.

Chemical Peels
Chemical peels remove damaged outer layers of skin on the face to smooth texture, reduce scarring, and remove blemishes to produce healthy, glowing skin. There are three types of chemical peels, ranging from mild to strong – alphahydroxy acids (AHAs), trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and phenol – and formula strengths are tailored to each patient. Peels can be combined with other procedures for a younger look.

B-LIFTx®
This advanced skin renewal treatment features the popular beta hydroxy acid and is offered only by your dermatologist. It takes just five minutes, but its visible results appear to lift years off your face.

With B-LIFTx®, there is no downtime, your skin immediately looks and feels smoother and tighter. Your face may temporarily appear a bit rosy. In a day or two, your face may begin peeling.

LightSheer TM Diode Laser

Made by Lumenis™, the same company that pioneered Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology, the LightSheer™ diode laser is considered the industry “gold standard” in achieving permanent hair reduction. The LightSheer laser works on a range of hair colors and all skin types, including tanned skin, and has been proven to improve the appearance of razor bumps, benign pigmented lesions, sun damage and superficial leg veins in addition to removing hair. An innovative cooling device on the end of the laser wand soothes the skin after each pulse of light, ensuring that treatment is nearly pain-free.

Skin has significant importance in our society as a sign of health and attractiveness, so skin conditions can greatly impact self-image and self-esteem. In addition, some conditions, such as skin cancer, can be serious and life threatening. The Skin Cancer Foundation states that skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States and that one in five Americans will develop skin cancer in his or her lifetime (Source: Skin Cancer Foundation).

Prompt diagnosis and treatment of skin conditions can help reduce or delay the onset of serious complications, such as loss of skin, disfigurement, spread of infection, or metastasis of cancer to other regions of the body. Seek prompt and regular medical care throughout your life to reduce the risk of serious complications of skin conditions. Seek prompt medical care if you have a change in your skin or a mole that is larger than the size of a pea, has irregular borders, seems to be growing rapidly, or has changed color. This may be an indication of skin cancer.

Skin conditions include reactions to allergic substances. Seek immediate medical care (call 911) if you, your child, or someone you are with, have symptoms of an anaphylactic reaction, such as hives, facial or mouth swelling, shortness of breath, or rapid breathing (more than about 16 breaths per minute for an adult).
